Mondays — June 15, 22 & 29, July 6 Meditation is an ancient practice that is still relevant, useful and incredibly beneficial today. It can be as simple and practical as lowering blood pressure or learning to quiet the mind and as deep and transformative as achieving inner peace and contentment. But regardless of the reasons one comes to the practice, meditation promotes mindful awareness and has immediate, meaningful and lasting results. In this series, we will learn a variety of meditation techniques and postures and discuss common experiences and pitfalls to help you establish a regular practice that will serve you well for years to come. No experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothing as we will work through simple yoga poses to prepare the body for seated meditation.
