Suburban Classic Offers Updated Menu Options after Years of Business
Wheaton’s only Irish-American dining destination, Muldoon’s Irish Pub, located at 133 W. Front St., Wheaton, is celebrating its 16th year of business and serving Chicagoland. Managed by Sonas Hospitality Co., which is named for the Gaelic term ‘sonas’ meaning ‘well-being,’ the restaurant is an established centerpiece of the quaint downtown known for its historic charm. Muldoon’s has served as a local gathering hot spot for surrounding community members, families and visitors alike for sporting events, family celebrations or outings as the best spot to grab good food in Wheaton. Opened in 2002, Muldoon’s offers guests a rustic yet nostalgic experience, taking guests into an neighborhood pub as though they are Irish themselves. From the moment they step inside, guests are welcomed “home” by inviting staff, comfortable décor and the delicious smell of Irish-American comfort food. Muldoon’s recently-updated menu is the creation of Executive Chef Marcus Mooney and features appetizers, soups, salads, specialty burgers, full entrees, desserts, and more, while highlighting favorite dishes like Shepherd’s Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, Corned Beef and Cabbage. www.sonashospitality.com.
