Carrie Carlson Art Lecture

Spend the evening listening to local artist lecture about their about their work. Their inspirations, media and processes can help move you forward on your own journey. Carrie received her BA in Biology and Art at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She earned an MFA in Scientific Illustration from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and is currently pursuing an MA in Printmaking at Governors State University. Since 2001, Carrie has taught science (biology, biomedical sciences, horticulture) and art (drawing, painting, design) in the south suburbs of Chicago. Carlson is completing an Artist in Residency with the Orland Grasslands celebrating and documenting native plants and animals of the Midwest prairie. She is on the printmaking faculty at Fine Line Creative Arts Center. This event is Free. Come out and be Inspired!
