Former ABC News Chief Medical Editor to present: Health Care Reform: A Prediction

Senior medical contributor and former medical editor of ABC News, Dr. Timothy Johnson, will discuss the state and future of the American health care system during his presentation, “Health Care Reform: A Prediction,” on Friday, Sept. 15 at 10:30 a.m., at Windsor Park retirement community,124 Windsor Park Drive, Carol Stream. The free presentation is hosted by the Windsor Park Center for Lifelong Learning.
Johnson is one of the nation's leading medical communicators of health care information. As former Chief Medical Editor for ABC News for 25 years, Johnson provided on-air medical analysis for “Good Morning America,” "World News," "Nightline" and "20/20." He has provided commentary on medical problems and answers for viewers of ABC News' "Good Morning America" since the program's debut in 1975.
Johnson is co-editor of the book "Your Good Health," co-author of "Let's Talk," and author of "Dr. Timothy Johnson's On Call Guide to Men's Health" and "Finding God in the Questions: A Personal Journey." Most recently, he is the author of a book on health care reform titled “The Truth About Getting Sick in America.”
The Windsor Park Center for Lifelong Learning is a resident-run committee that initiates and plans upcoming educational events and other opportunities for residents. Past programs have covered topics related to politics, religion, social justice, music and fine arts, and health and wellness.
