Some lanes temporarily closed on Fabyan ParkwayJun 11, 2020 02:30PM ● By Cassidy Newberry
Starting the week of June 8, 2020, the Fabyan Parkway over the Fox River Bridge will be reduced to one lane for eastbound traffic for the next two weeks to allow crews adequate room to safely work on the bridge deck pavement. The temporary lane closures will remain active until the work is complete, which is anticipated to occur approximately June 22, 2020.
Motorists should expect delays while traveling through the work areas and add additional time to their commutes. Motorists are asked to reduce their speed, watch for construction workers and vehicles entering or leaving the site, obey flaggers and comply with traffic control devices within the work zone. A reminder – it is illegal for drivers to talk on a cell phone while driving through a highway construction work zone.
