Bring life together at Anderson's Walk4animals

Oct 11, 2019 01:01PM ● By Vincent Prisco

Come out and participate in a three-mile or one-mile walk to help support the care and lives of the loving animals of Anderson Animal Shelter at their Walk4Animals benefit Saturday, October 12 beginning at 9am at Batavia Park District’s Peg Bond Center. Check –in will begin at 9am.

This is a fun filled event where there will be big dogs, little dogs, dogs in strollers, dogs in costumes, and more. Participants are encouraged to create a team or join one consisting of friends, family, clubs, co-workers, businesses, sports teams, organizations, schools, etc.

Not everyone has to bring a pet, but all pets are more than welcome. This is a celebration of love between people and their pets. All animals must be on a leash at all times for the health and safety of all dogs and people participating.

All attendees do not have to walk. Feel free to go to the “after pawty” and enjoy live entertainment with family and pet-friendly-fun. The after party will also include food and retail vendors, as well as a space for children and pets at a play area.

Be sure to bring cash and check donations at the check-in. The event will feature merchandise, including a bandana for everyone who registers or their pet. Those who raise $100 or more can receive prizes including an animal sling bag, a stainless steel water bottle, a sweatshirt, and those who donate $500 have access to the V.I.P.L. Lounge at the after party.

Register to walk at walk4animals.org and fine more information  at andersonanimalshelter.org. Anderson cares for over 4,000 animals every year providing love, health and second chances.
