Argentine Restaurant, Bocaditos Cafe, Opens in Downtown Batavia

Batavia - The Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of Bocaditos Café, an authentic Argentine restaurant in downtown Batavia, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
Bocaditos’ Argentine-focused menu centers around various flavors of empanadas. The carryout restaurant is located at 109 E. Wilson Street and is open from 11:30am-7pm, Monday through Saturday.
Orders for pick-up may be placed online, over the telephone or in person. The telephone number is 630-937-4002 and website address is bocaditos.cafe.
Among the large crowd of well-wishers were owners Silvia Sanchez and her daughter, Juliana Cancelo, their family and staff, and Mayor Jeffery Schielke.
Also, in attendance were Batavia Chamber President Margaret Perreault, Chamber Special Events Coordinator Patti Anselme, Chamber Communications and Membership Coordinator Shirley Mott, Batavia MainStreet Executive Director Jamie Saam (temporary), many Chamber ambassadors and members, as well as fellow downtown business owners.
