9th Annual ArtsFest is Coming to St. Charles; Kick Off Party on Sept. 5

St. Charles - ArtFest 2019 is happening from Sept. 6-15 at various locations throughout St. Charles. There will be a Kick off Party on Thursday, September 5 at the St. Charles History Museum

This year ArtsFest includes 9 Art Exhibitions, 9 Poetry Exhibitions, Live Performances and more events listed at stcharlesartscouncil.org/artsfest.

Kick Off Party
 
There will be a Kick Off Party at the St. Charles History Museum on Thursday, September 5 from 5-7pm where St. Charles Artist Rita Grendze will present an artist talk about her newly commissioned installation piece, created specifically for ArtsFest 2019. Refreshments will be served at the free, open to the public event. "Special thanks to the St. Charles History Museum for partnering on this event," states the St. Charles Arts Council.  

Artists Reception

On Friday, Sept. 6 from 6-8pm, visit the Pop-Up Gallery of the St. Charles Arts Council. 22 artists will have their work on display throughout the month of September. Refreshments will be served at the event. Address of the Pop Up Gallery is 1400 Lincoln Hwy, Suite K (next to Binny's and just behind Salsa Verde). The Arts Council tahnks Shodeen Group fro loaning them the venue.

Cookies and Canvas, SIP Parties and Cover Design Contest
Cookies and Canvas will happen at All Things Art Studio (1106 W. Main St.) and art events will be offered at SIP Parties (1 W. Illinois St., Suite 110). The St. Charles Chamber of Commerce will have a cover design contest for you to view and judge submissions.
