Net-Working It event to support Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence

Aug 13, 2019 03:17PM
Batavia - On Wednesday, August 21, all interested individuals are welcome to Net-Working It: Networking for a Cause.

The night of networking, with proceeds that go to a local foundation, will be at Crosstown Pub and Grill, 1890 Mill St. in Batavia.  From 5-7pm, enjoy appetizers provided and/or a cash bar while you meet other members from the community. Plan to come hungry, thirsty, make connections and bring a lot of business cards to share.

The cause for the month is the Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence. The Foundation's mission is to partner with Batavia Public School District 101 (BPS101) and the community to achieve educational excellence. Their vision is to partner with the schools and community, fostering innovations and expanding opportunities to ensure BPS101 students are always learning and always growing.

The event is free to all who attend, but a suggested donation of $10 can be given at the door to support Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence. To register for Net-Working It, contact Catherine Fitch at or call the Batavia Chamber at 630-879-7134.
