Batavia - The Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated the five-year anniversary and rebranding of one of Batavia’s downtown restaurants, Veritá, with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The restaurant, under the direction of executive chef Ernesto Estrada, specializes in a fusion of regional Italian cuisine with an emphasis on the traditional influences that make the appetizers, entrees and desserts so delicious.
Among the large crowd of well-wishers who attended on Aug. 1 were owner Wendy Reed, her family, her staff and Mayor Pro Tem Alan Wolff. Also, in attendance were Batavia Chamber President Margaret Perreault, Batavia Chamber Special Events Coordinator Patti Anselme, Batavia MainStreet Executive Director Chris Faber, many Chamber ambassadors and members, as well as fellow downtown business owners.
Veritá is located at 15 E. Wilson St., and is open Monday-Thursday, 4-9pm; Friday and Saturday, 3:30-9:30pm. Call 630-406-3009 or visit veritabatavia.com.
