Upcoming Shows for Geneva's Concerts in the Park, "Junes Got Cash" Tribute Band to Perform Tonight

June’s Got the Cash is a musical tribute to American Country Music icons Johnny Cash and June Carter. They will perform at River Park on July 10, 7pm.

Geneva - The Geneva Park District invites you to enjoy free Concerts in the Park on Wednesdays in July. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to River Park, 151 N. River Lane, for an evening of live entertainment. 

Concerts will begin at 7pm. Food will be available on site from Deane’s Market and Deli, and there will be a beer tent featuring local brews from Solemn Oath Brewery.

Tonight, July 10, see June’s Got the Cash. The musical tribute to American Country Music icons Johnny Cash and June Carter is scripted with classic country comedy bits, historical stories, vintage costumes and songs performed from Cash’s hit collection of music from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

The following bands will also be part of the 2019 Concerts in the Park Lineup: 

July 24 - Mr. Myers

Mr. Myers blends the sounds of calypso and ska, the rhythms of reggae, and a touch of rock and roll with some favorite tunes to create their own special style of music- Caribbean Rock. Featuring wailing sax, searing rock guitar, colorful steel drums, powerful percussion and strong vocals, Mr. Myers succeeds at playing its blend of Caribbean Rock to enthusiastic mainstream audiences everywhere.

July 31 - The StingRays

The StingRays play the greatest music ever written with the energy, passion, and authenticity of the artists they love. Go back a few decades and enjoy the Rock n’ Roll classics of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s!

The Geneva Park District’s Concerts in the Park are proudly sponsored by the Shodeen Family Foundation, Kane County Chronicle, DuPage Medical Group, Deane’s Market and Deli, Baird and Warner Brokers Joanne Spagnola and Becky Smith and Solemn Oath Brewery.

River Park is located on the west side of the Fox River, just north of Route 38, and is ADA accessible. Parking is available on the street and in nearby city parking lots.
