Fourth of July Fireworks and Celebrations in the TriCities

BataviaBatavia’s Fourth of July Sky Concert is a popular fireworks show that the city is always proud to host. The Sky Concert will start at 9:30pm at Main St. and Millview Dr. There will be food vendors at 5pm, a classic/dance rock show by The Blind Roosevelts at 6 and performance by the Batavia Community Band at 8:15. Celebrate the 4th of July at the Classic Car Show in downtown Geneva. From 5-8pm, classic cars will line 3rd Street. Visit genevachamber.com for more information. Family and friends can also enjoy Kane County Cougars Fourth of July Homestand - complete with an Independence Day Fireworks Show. "Come out and enjoy a picnic on the right field deck during the game this Fourth of July. Adults are $30, Kids ages 10 and under are $22 Food items include; hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, pulled pork, fruit salad, potato salad, and more" (kccougars.com).
Riverfest was unfortunately cancelled due to the flooding of Frontier Park. It has been rescheduled for August 30 & 31. Check discoverstcharles.com/events/riverfest/ for more details. Independence Day festivities will continue at St. Charles' Pottawatomie Park with "entertainment and activities throughout the day and an awe-inspiring fireworks display at night. Presented by the St. Charles Park District in cooperation with the City of St. Charles and local sponsors" (stcparks.org).
