Funway Celebrates Its Newly Remodeled Amusement Park with Grand Re-Opening

Batavia - The Batavia Chamber helped host a fabulous Ribbon Cutting and Grand Re-Opening ceremony for Funway Ultimate Entertainment Center

Members of the community came out to celebrate the newly remodeled amusement park with their new (2nd) go kart track, expanded mini-golf course and complete outdoor remodel.

Mayor Jeffery Schielke conducted the ceremony for Bob Hansen and his wife Janet, his daughter Jackie Sommerfeld, son Dominic Hansen and other family members. Also in attendance was Chamber president Holly Deitchman, Membership Development Specialist Margaret Perreault, many Chamber Ambassadors and Members, along with so many supportive friends.

Mayor Jeffery Schielke, members of the Chamber and community and so many supportive friends came to celebrate the entertainment center that has brought joy to families since 1959.

"Please be sure to come and visit Funway and check out all of their new offerings. You certainly will not be disappointed!" shared Catherine Fitch of the Batavia Chamber.
