Batavia Dinner Table Tickets On-Sale This Friday

Jun 04, 2019 11:31AM ● By Hannah Ott
Batavia - Have a seat at the table, the Batavia Dinner Table, on Sunday, August 4 at 4pm on Downtown Batavia’s North River Street Woonerf.

Fresh salads, grilled meats and locally-grown vegetables are just a few food items you'll find at the table.

It is the 4th annual, 200-person, family-style farm to table community gathering. Each year, funds raised from this event are donated to the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry, located in Downtown Batavia. To date, nearly $20,000 has been contributed from this locally sourced and prepared, volunteer served meal.
Flower centerpieces bring a warm feel to the long dinner table that seats 200 people.

The Batavia Dinner Table is a shared table experience where you will dine and mingle with your neighbors at on one long table. The food is farm to table. They source as much of the ingredients from the Batavia Farmers' Market Vendors as possible and bring those to your Downtown Batavia restaurants and Chefs to prepare for your dining experience.

Abbie, a volunteer at last year's dinner, smiles as she serves the community at the Batavia Dinner Table.

Individual tickets for this event will go on sale this Friday, June 7 at 7am through Eventbrite at bataviadinnertable2019.eventbrite.com. You can also find the link at downtownbatavia.com.

Tickets include a multi-course dinner and beverages for $60 each. The dinner does include wine and beer service, so we do require that all attendees be 21 years of age and older. Seating is limited, and tickets will sell out. Purchasing right away is highly recommended.
Friendly volunteers from the community will help serve the delicious farm to table meal.

This event is made possible thanks to the following sponsors: Aldi USA, Miscella Real Estate, Batavia Park District, City of Batavia, Advanced Disposal, K.Hollis Jewelers, Spillane & Sons Building and Remodeling, Bulldog Plumbing Inc., Waveform LLC and Katic Breads.
