Batavia - On Saturday, April 27, the Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation (BMCF) hosted the 19th Annual Fox Trot 5K & 10K and kids runs at the lovely Batavia Riverwalk. Nearly 200 runners and walkers enjoyed the races just before the untimely winter weather arrived. Overall, the event raised nearly $3,000 for area charities and schools.

Nearly 200 runners and walkers gathered in downtown Batavia for the 19th Annual 5K and 10K Fox Trot.

BMCF thanks all of the donors, volunteers and sponsors, especially Apollo Development & Investment; A.R. Bohr Roofing, LLC; and Orangetheory Fitness; and in-kind donors without whom these events could not take place.

BMCF would also like to thank all of the dedicated runners and walkers, many of whom return year after year. The money raised from this event, as well as all of BMCF's events, are disbursed to local charities and educational organizations serving women, children and families.

"The Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation members put on a spectacular event and hope that you will join them for Fox Trot next year," the foundation shared.
