The Holmstad to Host Event For Those With Visual Impairments

Batavia - Individuals and family members of those who are blind or visually impaired can learn more about the latest technology and products available to help individuals live a more independent lifestyle at the Low Vision Product Roadshow.

The Low Vision Product Roadshow is scheduled from 10:30am-3pm on Tuesday, April 30 at The Holmstad, 700 W. Fabyan Way in Batavia.

The event, in conjunction with Chicago Lighthouse, Lions Club and The Holmstad, will showcase products such as talking clocks, large button phones, large print keyboards, software for magnification and portable handheld video magnifiers.

Representatives will be on hand to demonstrate how utilizing the various technological advances might be the right fit to enhance everyday life.
