Apr 25, 2019 09:43AM ● By Hannah Ott

Elgin - Local women’s choral ensemble, Nothing But Treble, will present a concert on April 27 at 7:30pm.

The concert will be held at the First Presbyterian Church at 240 Standish Street in Elgin. The evening’s musical presentation, “An American Tapestry,” will celebrate some of America’s greatest composers, singers and arrangers through the decades.

Nothing But Treble is in its third season. Its motto is “Strong Women’s Voices United in Song,” and the members come from Elgin and the surrounding communities. The women span five decades in age and experience.

Their programming features outstanding repertoire for women’s voices of every genre with a strong nod to female composers and arrangers. Nothing But Treble is founded and directed by Rosalind Zager.

A free will offering is taken at each concert and donations are made to worthy causes in the Elgin community.
