Elgin - Community residents who have a family member struggling with a substance use
disorder are encouraged to participate in a new support group, Among Friends.
Starting on March 20, Among Friends will be held Wednesdays from 5-6pm at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 256 E. Chicago St., Elgin. The support
group will be facilitated by a substance use
disorder counselor from Renz Addiction Counseling Center.
