Dennis Taylor Scholarship Foundation for the Performing Arts Now Accepting Applications

St. Charles - The Dennis Taylor Scholarship Foundation for the Performing Arts proudly announced scholarship grants for the 2019-20 school year. The deadline for applications is April 16. Awards will be conferred upon students of voice, instrument, theatre and dance.

These scholarships are available to post-secondary and undergraduate students residing in the western suburbs of Chicago who are pursuing a major in the performing arts and demonstrate a passion for performance. Last year grants were given to students from St. Francis High School, Batavia High School, Conant High School and West Aurora High School.

The Dennis Taylor Scholarship Foundation for the Performing Arts also provides grants for primary and secondary school students. See the website for details.

Candidates can complete or download an application at dennistaylorsf.org. They can also request an application form from dennistaylorsf@gmail.com or call 630-584-0139. Finalists will be invited to audition in late April at Vero Voce Studio Theatre in St. Charles.


The Dennis Taylor Scholarship Foundation: Dennis Taylor served as a dancer, choreographer, costumer, makeup artist, set dresser and wig designer at dozens of suburban theaters for more than five decades.
