Batavia - The Batavia Chamber of Commerce was thrilled to help celebrate El Taco Grande's new ownership and management with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, January 10.

The Chamber had its Ambassador kick off meeting beforehand and were treated to some delicious authentic Mexican appetizers from the restaurant.

According to bataviachamber.org, "El Taco Grande offers authentic homemade Mexican Cuisine. Jose Olvera is proud to be the new owner of El Taco Grande. After 17 years of working at El Taco Grande, Jose wants to welcome you to his little piece of home."

Olvera promises a family-friendly atmosphere stating, "El Taco Grande will continue being a family restaurant with the same great tasting recipes and freshness for which they are known. Manuel Martinez has passed on his traditional recipes and dishes that amaze the taste buds and gratify the soul."

"Come in, relax and enjoy the fresh authentic Mexican cuisine we are so proud to serve! From our kitchen to your table, Jose Luis Olvera and Reyes Family."
