Junior High Honor Band to perform at Marmion Academy

Aurora - Marmion Academy, located at 1000 Butterfield Rd. in Aurora, will host the 19th annual Junior High Honor Band on Sunday, January 27.
Check-in is at 1pm (enter through door #7) with rehearsal beginning at 1:30pm. Pizza will be served to participants prior to the 5:45pm concert which is open to the public. Parents are welcome to attend rehearsals, tour Marmion Academy's campus and visit with Marmion Academy and Rosary High School parents who will be on hand throughout the day.
The Junior High Honor Band at Marmion Academy is open to 6th-8th grade boys and girls proficient on a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument. There is also an option for students who perform on upright string bass. 5th graders may participate with a note from their band director or private lesson instructor certifying his/her proficiency.

There is a $10 fee per student to cover the cost of pizza and sheet music. A confirmation email with a PDF attachment of the music for the concert will be sent once the registration is complete. Attire, schedule and other details can be found on the registration site and will also be included in the confirmation email.

The Marmion-Rosary Band is made up of students from Marmion Academy and Rosary High School and is directed by René Rosas.
