Elgin Symphony Orchestra presents Titans: Beethoven, Strauss and Wagner

Elgin, IL - For its 68th season, the Elgin Symphony Orchestra (ESO) will present the music of Beethoven, Strauss and Wagner; three influential German composers. Their vibrant styles will be showcased on November 3 & 4 at the Hemmens Cultural Center, 45 Symphony Way in Elgin. 

Titans will be led by Music Director, Andrew Grams, a Juliard graduate and 2015 Conductor of the Year by Illinois Council of Orchestras. The concert will feature Soprano, Laura Wilde, a graduate of Ryan Opera Center at Lyric Opera of Chicago. She will perform Strauss’s Vier Letzte Lieder or Four Last Songs with the orchestra. The orchestra will also play Beethoven's Fidelio Overture and highlights from Wagner's The Ring.

Tickets start at $30. Student tickets are $11. Valet or free parking available. Saturday's show is at 7:30pm and Sunday's is at 2:30pm. On Saturday, concertgoers are invited after the performance to Mingle with the Musicians at Bennigan’s, 495 Airport Rd. in Elgin.
