Geneva, IL, September 17,
2018 – The
State Bank of Geneva is celebrating its 115-year anniversary serving as the
longest continuous community bank in the Fox Valley area.
“We would like to thank our clients, both commercial and personal, as well as our employees who have been loyal to us over the years and allowed us to become a trusted institution in our community,” said Christopher Barton, President, CEO and Director of The State Bank of Geneva. “We greet our clients by name with a smiling face because we value creating long-term relationships with our clients. We have remained strong over the years and enjoyed continued success by steadfastly focusing on the community, offering friendly client services, and adding new service offerings to successfully compete with much larger banking conglomerates.”
“We make sure products like our commercial mortgages, lines of credit and loans are available for those ready to grow the business of their dreams,” said Barton. In addition to being local, its office is located in the downtown center of Geneva, IL, the bank extends its service area with a network of over 43,000 surcharge free ATMs nationwide.
“Where others have branches, we have roots,” added Barton. “Community always comes first at The State Bank of Geneva. From hiring local employees to helping our businesses grow to supporting community sports teams and charity events, we put our neighbors first. The money our clients invest with us stays here in Kane County to help our neighbors achieve their dreams and our community to thrive.”
