Downtown Taste is more than a fundraiser, it’s a fun night of community and delicious food in downtown Aurora.

On Tuesday, July 31 the 16th annual Downtown Taste welcomes visitors to enjoy offerings at 13 restaurants in downtown Aurora.

The fundraiser is an opportunity to get a taste of downtown while supporting Exchange Club of Aurora initiatives such as scholarships for East and West High students.

Live music is also part of the night with musicians such as Dave Eno, Claude Ainsworth, Meg and John Papadolias, and John Klatt.

Ticket books for the evening are $30 and provide four tickets each. Additional books will be available for purchase, and ticket books can be shared.

At the event, maps and ticket books will be available at the welcome table located at Santori Library, 101 S. River St., from 4 to 6 p.m.

Ticket books are available for purchase at the David L. Pierce Art and History Center, 20 E. Downer Pl., from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and online at www.eventbrite.com.
