Aurora fireworks rescheduled to Friday, July 27 at RiverEdge Park

AURORA, IL, July 6, 2018 – Due to severe weather, the 4th of July fireworks display was canceled, but the City of Aurora has rescheduled for Friday, July 27 at RiverEdge Park's Downtown Alive! concert.

This is now a FREE event. All previously purchased tickets to this event will be refunded in full.

Gates open at 6 p.m. Eagles tribute band Heartache Tonight will take the stage at 8 p.m. Fireworks begin around 9 p.m. Heartache Tonight will resume their show after fireworks.

Coolers, food, water and soft drinks are welcome, but no alcohol is allowed in the park. Food, alcohol and other beverages will be available for sale at the event. Patrons must have a valid photo ID to purchase and consume alcohol.

Seating will be available in front of the stage to just behind the sound tower. Bag chairs and blankets are allowed for the remainder of the park.
