DOWNTOWN AURORA - Egg Hunt on the Island invites all ages to search for eggs and participate in a number of free activities from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 in downtown Aurora.

The rain or shine egg hunt offers both indoor and outdoor egg hunts at several locations throughout downtown. In its second year, the fun event is hosted by Aurora Downtown, an organization of business and property owners in downtown Aurora.

The event features two outdoor egg hunts for different age groups as well as prizes for golden eggs found throughout Stolp Island. Indoor egg hunts will happen at SciTech Hands On Museum and Santori Public Library.

Culture Stock, 43 E. Galena Blvd., hosts free craft tables manned by Community Christian Church, and features Sebastian, the therapy wonder bunny. A kids area with chalk and bubbles will be at Millennium Plaza, 21 S. Stolp Ave.

A welcome table with maps and egg hunt bags will be set up at Endiro Coffee’s lower level, 29 W. New York St. Egg hunt bags are required for the outdoor egg hunts.

Refreshments and sweet treats are available at Aurora Regional Fire Museum, 53 N. Broadway.

Free trolley rides are also available during the event.
