The Geneva Chamber of Commerce staff and members of the business community, joined by Mayor Kevin Burns officially welcomed Penlindaba Lavender to Geneva with a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new location at 310 Campbell Street. Owners Mark Grennell and Andrew Grennell cut the ribbon to officially open their shop featuring all things lavender.

Pelindaba Lavender carries a ever-growing and diverse variety of organically-grown lavender-based products grown on San Juan Island off the coast in Washington including products for personal care, therapy, pets, decor, home and the kitchen.

The Geneva store is the first Pelindaba Lavender store in Illinois. "We chose Geneva to open our first store because it has exactly the type of retail area we were seeking," Grennell said "including a vibrant and historic downtown."

The store is open weekdays from 10:30-5:30, Saturday 10:30-6 and Sunday 12-5.
