Free Family Concert with ESO String Quartet Sept 10 at the Gail Borden Public Library

The Elgin Symphony Orchestra (ESO) String Quartet will present Musical Tales, a free concert for all ages on Sunday, September 10 at 2 pm at the Gail Borden Public Library. The program is based on the book Mole Music and takes listeners on a journey through musical times and styles with works by Mozart, Bach and more.  A special piece called Dinosaur Dance will be performed in honor of the Library’s Dinosaur Giants exhibit. The ESO String Quartet is Cristina Buciu and Carol Yampolsky, violin, Bonnie Yeager, viola and Kerena Moeller cello. Before the concert at 1 pm, families are invited to the Musical Instrument Petting Zoo. Meet the artists and enjoy refreshments after the show. This family concert is presented in partnership with the Gail Borden Public Library.
