Water Street Studios Gallery new exhibit: “The Watercolor Show”

Batavia, IL—Water Street Studios’ main Dempsey Family Gallery will be hosting its first group watercolor show, displaying the work of 12 artists.

The Watercolor Show will feature a broad range of work from well-established local and regional artists that demonstrates the full spectrum of watercolor painting techniques and subject matter.

During the opening night reception, you’ll get to meet each of the 12 artists while also enjoying live music, free food by Gaetano’s Batavia, a cash bar featuring beer from Solemn Oath Brewery and wine from Bright Angel wines.

The Watercolor Show will open on June 9th, from 6-to-9 pm and continue until July 8, 2017.

Upstairs at the Kane County Chronicle Gallery

Susan Ray Romano will be displaying some of her photos in a show titled, “Channeling Vivian” at the Kane County Chronicle gallery, located on the second floor at Water Street Studios.

Opening reception will be held June 9, from 6 – 9 p.m.  

The show will be on view during regular gallery hours: Friday, 1-9 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 12 to 4 p.m. at 160 S. Water Street in Batavia.
