The Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation names new President; announces 2017-2018 meeting schedule

BATAVIA (May 20, 2017) – The Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation (BMCF) has named Holly Miller as the new President of the foundation. BMCF installed the new Board of Directors at a ceremony in May which included: Eunice Turnbaugh (President-Elect), Nicole Boland (Past President), Samantha Jackson (Treasurer), Gabby Loboda (Secretary), Kristin Gehrels (Ways & Means Chair), Cheryl Hasenjaeger & Deanna Modaff (Philanthropic Chairs), and Kat Maggio (Communications Chair).  Mrs. Miller will oversee all aspects of the 501c3 organization, which raised and disbursed over $23,000 this past year to improve the lives of children and families in the Fox Valley area.

BMCF hosts a variety of fundraisers throughout the year such as the annual Fall Arts & Craft Show to be held at Batavia High School on October 21, 2017; the Bunco Charity Event held in January/February; and the Fox Trot 5K/10K Run held in April. In addition to the large fundraisers held annually, BMCF also supports local charities each month by providing needed donations or services.

BMCF also announces its 2017-18 General Meetings will be held the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm, September through May, at the Batavia Public Library. Occasionally, the meeting location differs, please check the website for more information. BMCF’s membership is comprised of area moms interested in supporting the community through philanthropic endeavors.
