The St. Charles Chamber of Commerce staff and members of the business community, joined by Mayor Ray Rogina officially welcomed Vintage 53 to downtown St. Charles with a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 18th at their location at 162 S. First Street.

Owner Mario Grado cut the ribbon to officially open his new venue offering a wine bar, small plates and live entertainment. Guests at the event sampled several of items from the menu and sipped delicious wines.

The atmosphere at Vintage 53 is rustic-industrial, making use of locally built reclaimed wood tables, brick, industrial lighting and decor. The impressive wine list features over 80 wines, many by-the-glass. An assortment of flat breads, small plates and shareables pair perfectly with wine selections and there is live entertainment every weekend.

Vintage 53 is open from 3-11 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, 3 p.m.- midnight on Friday and Saturday and 12-8 on Sunday.
