Nothing like the smell of fresh hoagies in the spring!
Spring is coming and so is one of Batavia’s most delicious traditions—MUSIC HOAGIES. No, they are not musical hoagies, but they do make you want to sing. This tradition has been the longest-standing fundraiser to help support music in BPS101 schools.
Quick fact: All hoagies are made fresh on pick-up day in a matter of two short hours. Of course, a little prep time goes into the entire process, but the actual making of thousands of sandwiches happens all in a tiny window of time.
The money raised from hoagie sales goes to provide instruments in the classrooms and costumes for co-curricular musical groups. Over the past few years, Music Buffs has purchased new French Horns, which are used daily at Rotolo Middle School.
Bet your mouth is watering by now, and you just want to know the date. Students will be out selling March 20 through April 3 and they can be ordered online at bataviamusicbuffs.org/hoagies during the same time period. Thanks for your support and stay hungry music friends!
