Have you been cooped up in the house too much this winter? It’s time to get out and head back to Downtown Batavia!

Restaurant Madness is our excuse for you to skip a night of cooking and enjoy a tasty meal from one or more of Batavia’s delicious restaurants during the week of March 20 through March 24. Your ticket to 20% off at 30 different locations is right here in the pages of Neighbors Magazines. Salsa Verde is brand new to town, so this is a great opportunity for a first visit. You could also use this as a chance to revisit a location you haven’t been to in a while like Aliano’s or The Elms. Our friends over at Gaetano’s Batavia have even created a special discounted menu for you to enjoy a multi-course experience of their restaurant. Make sure to bring a copy of the coupon with you to any of the participating restaurants. We hope that you will enjoy a variety of dining options during this week.

Sat., April 15 enjoy the beginning of spring in downtown Batavia with your family at our Egg Hop event from 10am until 1pm. Starting at the Riverwalk at 10am, grab a map and a treat bag so that your little bunnies can hop around to participating businesses and collect eggs. Treat bags are only available while supplies last, so make sure to bring a basket or bag from home just in case. While out hopping, keep an eye out for special prize eggs numbered for a chance to win a great item during the Riverwalk raffle at 12:30pm. This event is fun for families with little ones through elementary school including interactive dance performances, story time, games and more!

The Batavia Farmers’ Market kicks off its 22nd outdoor season on Sat., June 3. All of your favorite local vendors will be back including Katic Bread, Windmill Ginger Brew, Sol Gardens, and more as well as some new ones that you will be sure to enjoy. In partnership with the opening day of the market, two new events will also take place on June 3. At 7:30am Batavia MainStreet will host our first ever 5k run! Race to Market—Opening Day 5K will begin at the Farmers’ Market and take the 5K loop around Fabyan Park and end at the Peg Bond Center. There, participants and the public can enjoy all there is to learn about wellness, fitness, prevention and a healthy world at the new WellBatavia Expo.

Please be sure to register at today to ensure your spot in this Inaugural event.

See you downtown this Spring!
