St. Charles Library Sunday Concert Series hosts vocalist Maureen Christine and Jazz saxophonist Michael Bazan

The St. Charles Public Library Sunday Concert Series will host award-winning vocalist Maureen Christine and Jazz saxophonist Michael Bazan on Sunday February 5th. They will be accompanied by 2016 Grammy nominee  Don Stille on piano and accordion.  The concert will take place at 2 p.m. in the Carnegie Auditorium, One S. sixth Avenue, St. Charles Il. The program “Come-on-a-my-house..Sophisticated songs of the 50’s” will pay tribute to such musical greats as Rosemary Clooney, Johnny Mathis, Debbie Reynolds, Elvis, Dave Brubeck and more.

Vocalist Maureen is a national recording artist and concert vocalist “a voice crystal clear, not a note or syllable wasted" (New York's Pink Paper). She has opened for Willlie Nelson, shared the stage with Barry Manilow, and sung for Astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Michael Bazan, Director Of Bands at Wredling School St. Charles and adjunct saxophone professor at Wheaton College Conservatory Of Music, is also a professional woodwindist. Pianist and Accordion player Don Stille will complete the trio. 

The concert is free, and is open to the public. Registration is suggested.
