The Geneva Park District has everything you need to get in shape this holiday season – a variety of fitness classes, two state-of-the-art fitness centers, a TRX® functional fitness studio, racquetball, personalized training, and nutrition counseling. Now is the time, and the Geneva Park District is the place.
FREE Fitness Demo Day
Come try out fitness classes at Fitness Demo Day on Saturday, December 3. Choose from 10 different FREE 25-minute demo classes. Registration is recommended, and a waiver must be signed on the day of class. In-person registration is available at Sunset Fitness Center and Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center. Phone registration is available by calling 630-232-4542 or 630-232-4501. Classes are for ages 14 & older.

Holiday Fitness Classes
Burn off those holiday cookies with two weeks of a-la-carte fitness classes from December 19-29 at the Geneva Park District. Choose from Merry Muscle Mania, WERQ® Off the Cookies, Holiday Restorative Yoga, Poinsettia PiYo®, Blitzen’s Barre Fitness, Candy Cane Cycle, and more! Registration is required, classes are $5 for Geneva residents ($7 non-residents), and participants must be 14 or older. For a full schedule of classes or to register, call 630-232-4542.
Personalized Training and Nutrition Counseling at the Geneva Park District
Are you ready to get healthy and in shape, but need some direction and motivation? The Geneva Park District has certified personal trainers and a certified dietitian/nutritionist ready to provide you with the support you need to reach your goals. Work one-on-one to create safe, effective, and manageable workout and/or meal plans based on your lifestyle; improve your cardio fitness, strength, flexibility, and balance; lose weight; and be encouraged the entire time.

The Geneva Park District is home to two state-of-the-art fitness centers, which are open to residents and non-residents alike. Choose from the Sunset Racquetball & Fitness Center at 710 Western Avenue, or the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center at 3507 Kaneville Road. Affordable membership options start at just $21 a month for adults, $16 a month for seniors, $14 a month for teens ages 16-17, and $35 a month for families. Day-passes to either facility are also available.
Amenities at our fitness centers include: Free Weight Area, Cardiovascular Equipment, Strength Training Equipment, Core Conditioning/Stretching Area, TRX Functional Fitness Studio*, Locker Room & Towel Service, Showers & Saunas, FM Stereo Television Monitors, Racquetball & Wallyball Leagues*, and Court Rentals*. (*TRX, Raquetball, and Wallyball available only at Sunset Fitness Center.)
Geneva Park District Fitness Centers are open Monday through Friday from 5:30 am - 9:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm.

The Geneva Park District offers over 70 fitness classes each season – including indoor cycle, barre, yoga, Zumba®, Bosu, cardio kickboxing, low-impact aerobics, TRX Body Blast®, Pilates, Tabata, boxing, PiYo®, circuit training, and more. Fitness center membership is NOT required to take fitness classes at Sunset Community Center or the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center. Resident registration starts December 6, non-resident registration starts December 13, and classes begin in January. Open Gym and Indoor Track
The Geneva Park District’s Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center houses both a gymnasium and a three-lane indoor sport track. The gymnasium hosts Open Gyms for all ages. Schedules are available online at genevaparks.org. Open Gym fees are $3.00 for residents, $5.00 for non-residents, and FREE for fitness center members.
The indoor track is available for walking, jogging, or running. Daily track fees (which include use of the fitness center) are $8.00 for residents, $10 for non-residents, and FREE for fitness center members. Geneva Park District Residents also have the option to purchase an annual track pass for $25, allowing them track use only.
