The Albright Theatre Company is proud to present Michael A. Youngs’ adaptation of A Christmas Carol, a retelling of the Christmas classic.

This adaptation of A Christmas Carol provides a new twist to the Charles Dickens classic. A young boy named Thomas enjoys spending time at his grandfather’s lending business, but does not understand why his grandfather would share hard-earned money with the poor. Grandfather takes the opportunity to tell Thomas the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, and a traditional retelling of the classic comes to life onstage. A Christmas Carol is directed by Batavia residents Nicolette Pollack and Kathy Pollack.

The cast features Batavia residents Naomi Gustin, Ronni Gustin, Annie Hanlin, Kelly Hunecke, Elisa Reamer, Abbey Sutton and Ron Gustin; Geneva residents Charlie Egan, Griffin Egan and Ava Schumock; Aurora residents Matthew Johnson, Jessica Shinofield and Abigail Shinofield; North Aurora resident Bruce Worthel; Naperville resident Lisel Neumann; Bolingbrook resident Courtney Elliot; Lisle resident Max Frantz; Romeoville resident Elizabeth Hilgart; Hinsdale resident Marin Hughes; Lombard resident Rob Nowak; Sugar Grove resident Judy Swanson; and Chicago resident Ed Voci.

A Christmas Carol will run weekends December 2 through 11 and is rated PG.
