Geneva based charity, Changing Children's Worlds Foundation (CCWF) would like to announce the 2016 Kane County
Public Awareness Campaign and “Ultimate Children’s Playhouse” Project. The “Ultimate
Children’s Playhouse” was designed, built, and donated by John Hall Custom
Homes of St. Charles. This year’s
Custom Rustic Farmhouse was designed by Jessica Hall-Jungmann who says, “This
[playhouse] truly would not happen if it wasn’t for the big hearts of our trade
partner’s – the donations and time they put into building the playhouse for
children and their families to enjoy. My favorite part of course is the
creative process. It starts from my
sketches and renderings, and then put into the hands of our architect who then
completes working drawings for my brother Josh and our team of trade partners
The outside of the Playhouse features White Board and Batten Siding, Custom Craftsman Style Rustic Alder Stained Front Entry Door, Dark Bronze Andersen 100 Series Fibrex Windows, Charcoal Grey Shingles, exterior LED lights, and Grey Standing Seam Metal Overhang with Natural Cedar Brackets and Trim details.
The inside will amaze children and parents alike with the Farmhouse Style Decorating which includes Hardwood Floors, LED ambient lighting, Inverted Plug and Play set up, WIFI, and a Camera with 2-way communication which will allow parents to check on their child anytime. This playhouse comes ready for those cool fall days as it is fully insulated, and covered with Huber Engineered Zip System advanced Water and Air barrier system.
Builder Joshua Hall shared, “It is very rewarding to come together with our Great Team and put together playhouses that you know kids will be able to enjoy with their families and friends for many years! It is always stressful working it into such a busy schedule but when it is finished it gives you an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment and pride”.
Raffle Tickets for the playhouse are be available for sale as the playhouse makes its tour to Kane County events and festivals, parades over the summer as well as through changingchildrensworlds.org. The lucky winner will be drawn on September 10 at Baltria Vintage Auto Gallery located at 4200 E Main St, St Charles, IL 60174. Baltria will be hosting CCWF’s final Public Awareness Campaign Stop and Raffle drawing during their vintage car show. Come join the fun 9am-3pm, free admission, live music & food!
The Playhouse will be delivered for free for the lucky winner within a 35 minute radius of St. Charles and professionally installed on a prepared level gravel bed.
This is the third year CCWF and John Hall Customs Homes has partnered up to raffle off the playhouse of dreams. Raffle proceeds fund empathy-based Family Development Programs throughout Chicagoland. “Our priority is supporting parents/children programs where funding is not available. John Hall Custom Homes and their team member have enabled us to have an effective public awareness campaign and deliver a marvelous playhouse,” said Kimberly Svevo-Cianci, Ph.D., CCWF Executive Director. When John Hall Jr was asked what motivates him and his company to be such a dedicated supporter of CCWF he replied, “The John Hall Custom Homes Family and Trade Partners all believe in giving back to our Communities in any way we can. I am truly honored on behalf of JHCH Inc., and all of Our Participating Trade Partners that we are able to be a part of this awesome and FUN, Charity Event! Get out there and buy those tickets”
