ArranmoreArts will bring a fun-filled, multi-arts experience to Naper Settlement that gives kids ages 7 to 12 a chance to explore their own sense of inspiration when they work alongside professional artists. This program runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 30. Admission is $12/child, $10/Settlement-6 members and above. Registration ends at noon on Thursday, July 27. To register, call 630.420.6010.

Kids will express themselves through discoveries in music and dance and will collaborate to create a piece of visual art.

“ArtJam is one of our favorite events because it really speaks to our mission in combining all the art forms in one really fun setting,” said ArranmoreArts Artistic Director Lara Filip. “There is something about kids being in an environment where they feel safe and inspired to step out of their comfort zones and share the experience together. We always try to find a venue that is just as stimulating as the activities, and Naper Settlement is the perfect partner for us.”

All supplies included. Parents are welcome to attend with their child at no cost. The workshop is held outdoors. In case of inclement weather, ArtJam will take place indoors. This program is made possible through the Special Events and Cultural Amenities Fund.
