Thursdays, June 16–July 21 • 6:30-7:15pm

All ages. Exploring with their senses helps kids learn more about their world! Nurture your child’s devel­opment through early literacy and sensory activities and play aimed at ages 2-5. Dress to get messy! Drop in or register online for a reminder.

Cupcake Wars

Sat., June 18 • 1–2pm

For K–5 and families. Show off your cupcake decorating skills! Compete against others to create the best looking cupcake. Bragging rights will of course be awarded to the winner.

Mighty Movers

Fridays, June 24 • 1–2pm

For children and teens. An adaptive dance program for individuals with all types of disabilities. Students express themselves exploring and engaging in creative movement, musicality and more! Presented by Moves Dance Studio. Registration required.

Quidditch Party

Gr. 4–12. Love the Harry Potter books? Want to try your skills at Quidditch? We are combining our Tween and Teen bookclubs for a fun afternoon of everyone’s favorite wizard sport!

Teen Coffeehouse

Thurs., May 26 & Mon., June 27 • 6–8pm

Gr. 6–12. Come to the library and hang out with your friends. We’ll have the Wii U out to play games, craft supplies, or you can simply chill.

Teen Advisory Board

Applications available June 1–Aug. 15. Students entering grades 6–12 are welcome to join TAB! Earn volunteer hours and get your say in teen and library activities.

AARP Smart Driver Safety

Thurs., June 16 & Fri., June 17 • 12:30–4:30pm

(8 hour course, 2 sessions)

Refresh your driving skills, learn to adjust to age-related changes, and operate vehicles more safely. Class is four hours each day; both sessions must be completed to qualify for in­surance carrier’s discount. Cost $20 (AARP members $15) Bring mem­bership number and cash or check made out to AARP on the first day of class. Arrive 15 minutes early for registration. Space is very limited; register in advance. For adults.

Basic Microsoft Word 2010

Mon., June 20 & 27 • 6:30–8:30pm (attend both sessions)

Discover how easy it is to learn the basics of Microsoft Word 2010 for work and home. Handouts and laptops provided. You must come to both sessions. Space is very limited. Register in advance. For adults.
