The Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation (BMCF) welcomed representatives of more than 35 community groups and schools to a Disbursement Open House at Batavia’s Peg Bond Center on Tuesday, May 17th.  At this event, BMCF presented grant award checks totaling more than $48,000 to organizations such as Mutual Ground, TriCity Family Services, CASA Kane County, and Batavia Nursery School. A full list of recipients can be found on our website.  Attendees enjoyed light refreshments while meeting members of BMCF and connecting with other members of the educational, social services, and philanthropic communities. Recipients of grant dollars share BMCF’s goal of bettering life for children and families in Batavia and the Fox Valley. BMCF members raised this money through the Annual Autumn Craft & Vendor Show, Bunco Night, and Fox Trot Race. Applications for charitable disbursements are due by March 15 each year. Many Fox Valley charities that improve the lives of those in our community benefit from the generous donations of our supporters and sponsors, especially our platinum sponsors: PraxisFit, Arco Murray, The Chiropractic People, and Apollo Development and Investment! Thank you on behalf of all of these organizations.
