Project Self-Compassion Aims to Empower Teen Girls

Jan 11, 2016 11:21AM ● By Karen Kaplan

Are you ready to empower yourself? Are you a teen girl looking to take control of your life? Do you want time to talk with other girls about the challenges of day-to-day life? Do you want to improve your ability to handle the difficult thoughts, emotions, and situations in your life?

Come join us for a skill-building group that will challenge you to cultivate your inner strength, improve your emotional resiliency and self-awareness, and learn how to better manage relationships.

Supportive meetings are facilitated by a licensed counselor and will challenge you to grow through activities and discussions. Your parents will attend the last session with you.

Project Self-Compassion will be held Thursdays, March 10-May 12(no meeting 3/24, 3/31) from 7:00pm-8:30pm at TriCity Family Services, 1120 Randall Court, Geneva.

The cost is $80 per session, with fee reductions available based on need. Register by calling 630-232-1070.
