ILS takes third place in national competition

Immanuel Lutheran School’s girls cross country team took third place at the Lutheran Grade School National competition held on Oct. 24 at Concordia University, Mequon, WI. Fourteen team teams and 155 runners competed in the event. Five Immanuel runners were named to the All American teams and the majority of their runners achieved personal records. Results are as follows.

Grade 6 and under:

Isabella Polizotto, tenth place, Second Team All-American

Alyce Williams, fourteenth place, Second Team All-American.

Grades 7 and 8:

Melanie Williams, sixth place, First Team All-American

Claire Bittner, eighth place, Second Team All-American

Anna Jerdee, seventeenth place, Third Team All-American.
