Don’t miss out on The Albright Theatre’s, The Butler Did It (PG) by Walter Marks and Peter Marks running on weekends until Nov. 14. Show times are Fri. & Sat. at 8pm and Sun. at 2pm.

From Left to Right: Patrick Deering of Batavia as writer/director Tony Lefcourt, Edward Voci of River Forest as Mr. Bulter/Robert, and Michael Mattingly of Sycamore as Aldo/Michael.

The Butler Did It focuses on Anthony J. Lefcourt, writer and director who hopes to change his fortunes with his latest production, a classic whodunit in which all the characters are named Butler. In a desperate attempt to get his cast to focus on the show, and not their egos or love lives, Mr. Lefcourt stages the murder of a cast member. Things do not go as planned causing the plot to twist and turn in many thrilling and unexpected ways until both the actors and the audience have lost track of what is real and what is make believe. $15 – adults, $12 – students/seniors. 100 N. Island Avenue (3rd floor of the Batavia Government Building). Reservations are highly recommended. 630-406-8838, albrighttheatre.com.
