$125,000 grant to prevent youth substance use

The Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Elgin (CSHE) received a grant from the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) for $125,000 in DFC grant funds to involve and engage their local community to prevent substance use among youth. The Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Elgin (CSHE) is governed by members who represent different sectors of the community, facilitated by Renz Addiction Counseling Center and supported by state funding.
