Lazarus House needs tableware

Oct 22, 2015 02:04PM ● Published by Neighbors Magazines

Do you have any leftover holiday plates, bowls, napkins, etc? How about take-out plastic utensils that you haven't used? Lazarus House would love to take these items off of your hands.

Lazarus House has recently lost its donor of all disposable tableware needed for meals. A generous manufacturer had been supplying the tableware needed for many years. Monthly they have provided all plates, bowls, cups and plastic flatware at no charge.  This month they theyre notified they no longer had the ability to continue this kindness. If  Lazarus House tried to purchase the amount of these items needed each month, it will cost  approximately $1,000. Please consider making a donation of disposable sturdy plates and bowls, Styrofoam cups or plastic knives, forks and spoons, whether they be brand new or odds and ends. Everything will help until they can find a more permanent solution. You may become that permanent solution

Lazarus House is looking for someone who may have a connection to a manufacturer or distributor of disposable plates, bowls, cups, and plastic ware. They are looking for possible donation or reduced cost to purchase these much needed supplies for the shelter. 630-587-2144,
