St. Charles Singers' concert season now open

St. Charles Singers and Metropolis Chamber Orchestra, with conductor Jeffrey Hunt will perform Mozart Journey X: This Is Our Joy on Sept. 11 (Elgin) at 7:30pm and Sept. 13 (St. Charles) at 3pm. It is tenth installment in the choir's ambitious, multi-year initiative to present the complete sacred choral music of classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The program will launch the choir's 32nd concert season. The concerts will see the introduction of the St. Charles Singers' Klop postive organ, newly built in the Netherlands. $35 for adults, $30 for seniors and $10 for students.
