Parkinson’s Disease Exercises – Thursdays in June
Delnor Glen Senior Living, part of Northwestern Living, 975 N. Fifth Ave., St. Charles offers a weekly exercise class designed specifically to meet the needs of those with Parkinson’s Disease and movement disorders from 11 – 11:45 am. The Holmstad Helping Hearts – June 4
This is a free family and caregiver support group from 1:30 – 2:30 pm in the Town Center classroom at The Holmstad, 700 W. Parkinson’s Support Group – June 20
This group is open to individuals with Parkinson’s Disease or movement disorders; their family members, caregivers and loved ones. Monthly meetings at Delnor Glen Senior Living, part of Northwestern Medicine, 975 N. Fifth Ave., St. Charles include educational programs on topics relevant to the disease/disorder, an opportunity for networking and the exchange of ideas. Refreshments are served. 9th Annual Shred Event – June 20
KCT Credit Union will hold its annual shred fest at Hamilton Street and River Lane from 9 am – noon. The event is free and open to the public. Members and area residents are welcome to bring their personal files to be shredded on-site.

Delnor Glen Senior Living, part of Northwestern Medicine, 975 N. Fifth Ave., St. Charles offers this on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7 – 8 pm. This group gives caregivers an opportunity to hear how others, who are experiencing the same issues, are coping.
Model Train Display – June 23-27
During Swedish Days visit Geneva History Museum, 113 S. Third St., Geneva large-scale model train display, complete with a scavenger hunt. Museum is open Tuesday – Saturday 10 am – 6 pm during this week. Admission: $3/$2 Museum Members.

Starting May 26, The Sugar Path, 315 W. State St., Geneva will begin opening daily at 8 am with an expanded Iced Coffee menu and daily pastries. Also starting that Tuesday is their delivery program!
